Day 1: Trekking through Bogani Nani Wartabone National Park – 10 km of jungle trails, surrounded by tropical vegetation and exotic bird calls. We even spotted the rare Maleo bird, whose eggs are protected by rangers. A magical moment: releasing a freshly hatched chick into the wild. 🌱💚
After an adventurous ride on an ojek (motorbike taxi) through a small village and a refreshing river stop, the day ends tired but happy at Hotel Yulia.

Day 2: Begins with pure awe: whale sharks in the bay of Botubarani. Giant, gentle, and unforgettable – whether diving or snorkeling. 🐋✨
And it doesn’t stop there: in nearby Olele, we explore steep walls covered in colorful corals, small overhangs, and the famous Salvador Dali sponges.
The ride back takes us along rice fields, small villages, and the coastline – offering a truly authentic glimpse into life in Gorontalo.🪸Before catching the boat back to Saronde from Kwandang harbor, we stroll along the pier and watch local teenagers gathering to enjoy the sunset. A shared moment that reminds us how connected we really are. 🌅
📍Gorontalo – a place full of surprises and natural beauty.
